Jumping off of earlier posts, I am for the most part much more analytic than it's assumed to be normal to be. Ahahahahahaaa, the only sort of problem resolution I'm really good at is debugging HTML, occasional CSS, and PHP. This* has moved from deeply distressing to very prosaic to an absurdist comedy.

One of the people I admire the most on LJ is a person I've never met and only had small handfuls of conversation with: nicked_metal. I admire him because his journal is an open and honest and constantly thought-provoking examination of how he deals with a lot of his own issues, and because to do that sort of thing in an arena where anyone can stumble upon it ( Read more... )

I have this problem with New Years' Resolutions. It's, you know, the usual problem, a sort of amalgam of "They never work" and "There's no magical power bestowed on you on New Years" and "If you have something you want to change in your life, there's really no reason it has to be New Years for you to decide that." I have this habit of adopting people without really telling them I've done so, and then I do things like stalk them all the time and leave dead things on their pillows random gifts for them, cat-style, often stealthily, and trying to make all of my friends be friends with them.
